Living Water Community Church is committed to supporting missionaries sharing God’s word both within Australia and Overseas.
In addition to dedicated gifts, we set aside 10% of all tithes and offerings received to support our missionaries. Currently we support four missionaries:
Fay Walkling – Thailand
Fay has been serving God overseas for more than 25 years. The last 12 have been spent in the North of Thailand where she founded a girls home and a boys home. She has been the spiritual mum to many, but closely cares for 14 teenagers living at the Emmanuel Home. Fay has brought the love of Jesus very practically into the life of these boys, who were otherwise written off as hopeless by society. She teaches and preaches fluently in Thai and mentors a number of Pastors and Bible College students. Fay is also actively involved in village outreach and church planting in the region.
Tear Australia
TEAR Australia is a movement of Christians in Australia responding to the needs of poor communities around the world. Our motivation comes from our belief that God loves all people, and in Christ offers them the opportunity of a new life. Tear believe that God is just, and has particular care for the poor and those who suffer as victims of injustice.
Tear work in partnership with other Christian groups, including churches, relief and development agencies and community-based organisations, which are working with the poor in their communities. Tear seek to build effective relationships with these partners, grounded in mutual respect, trust and accountability.
Tear give priority to those programs that strive to involve the most marginalized and exploited members of each community, regardless of their religious or political beliefs.
In Australia, Tear work to inform and empower Christians, in partnership with local churches, to make a Biblically-shaped response to suffering and oppressed communities.
John & Christine Santostefano – Europe
Kids Works International (KWI) seeks to transform, equip and expand the heart of Children’s Ministry worldwide. Originally from Melbourne Australia, John and Christine have three daughters and have been involved with children and youth of all ages since their teenage years. In 2006 they relocated to Europe to oversee and advance Children’s ministry by partnering with Next level International. They are working alongside churches throughout Europe to train, develop and cast vision to children’s leaders and church planters in all aspects of Children’s ministry.
John & Jenny Davidson - Carnarvon
John and Jenny have been part of the ministry teams in Shepparton AOG for over 20 years. God has now put a desire in their hearts to see the gospel go out to the Indigenous people of Australia in a culturally-relevant way. Together with their two boys they have spent a year on the ministry team of the Aboriginal church in Shepparton, and 14 months in Halls Creek doing training with AAO (Australian Aboriginal Outreach, a section of AOG World Missions). They intend to plant a culturally relevant Indigenous church in Carnarvon, WA. They want to see lost souls saved and Indigenous people having a lasting relationship with Jesus. They also want to raise up indigenous leaders.
